This free public concert will take place on Brigid’s Day itself and will be the ultimate celebration of the Spirit of Brigid, in the company of some of the most vital Irish female artists of all time – and music laced with a special sense of the courageous Irish female spirit in glorious action.

Spirit of Play - Sustainability Day in Clane Abbey Community Centre. A day packed with hilarious performances, hands-on activities, and games all about sustainability. Experience Animal Yoga for kids to move and play and join the Green Grannies Bingo for a heart warming variety show. Free events, booking essential.

In collaboration with Wild Kids Forest School, we're delighted to have received funding from Brigid, Spirit of Kildare! Come and spend the morning weaving some Brigid's Crosses with us, on my land in Donadea, we'll have fire and tea and tasty treats, and we'll explore making different types of Brigid's crosses and also the God's eye weave!

The Allen Heritage and History Brigid day walk will begin with assembly in Allen Hall please register in the hall where volunteers will be on hand. 

The walk sets off in small groups heading to Crosspatrick hill and back through St. Brigid's path and return to Allen Hall for light refreshments and some chat.

This vibrant and enchanting production is a collaborative effort involving Fidget Feet and Ceol Connected who are two leading production companies currently operating in Ireland, creating high quality and engaging work that has toured Ireland and internationally.

St. Brigid's Cathedral, Kildare

A Celebration of Irish Women Artists St. Brigid’s Cathedral in Kildare will be a marvellous setting for a musical event. In keeping with the spirit of Brigid, and the dignified aura of the Cathedral, this specially curated, ticketed event will draw from the well of spiritual music, choral music, soul music and the Irish tradition to deliver an event that stirs the soul and the spirit alike.

Monasterevin Parish have organised a Camino Walk to commemorate Brigid. Starting at St. Brigid's Shine at Mountrice W34X529 on the Monasterevin - Rathangan Road (R414) at 11am on Monday 3rd February (walk is approx 6km). Car parking provided at Mountrice Cross. The walk will be led by the Bishop and will journey via Umeras then along Canal Blueway, finishing in St. Peter & Paul Church W34KD61 Monasterevin with a Service of Light at 12.30pm.
