The Brigid 2026 | Spirit of Kildare Festival is an inclusive county-wide celebration that invites locals and visitors to experience Kildare’s creativity, culture, and community spirit.

Kildare County Council is delighted to announce that the festival will run this year from Thursday 29 January to Monday 2 February.

The festival delivers a vibrant, five-day programme of music, art, culture, and family-friendly activities that celebrate Brigid’s enduring legacy and spirit.

Enjoy unforgettable performances from chart-topping bands, headline acts, and thrilling live events. The festival programme features an incredible lineup of artists, performers, and family-friendly experiences.

The 2026 programme builds on the success of previous years, offering a mix of free and ticketed events, designed to welcome all audiences and celebrate the best of Kildare’s culture and community.
