Line-up: Megan O’Neill & Friends

The M52 is making its journey from Robertstown to Sallins Grand Canal for the opening night of the St. Brigid’s Festival 2025, bringing with it a truly magical experience. From the deck of this century-old canal barge, Megan O’Neill and friends will deliver an unforgettable floating concert as audiences gather along the banks of the Grand Canal.

'Moving words' is a story-time with live dance performance event for young audience that combines the art of contemporary dance with reading of selected picture book, with aim of making live dance performance accessible to a wider audience. This event provides the community the experience of an dance performance integrate with a an inclusive and specially tailored movement workshop. This event is recommended for children from 6 to 8 years.

Making a spring inspired picture bookmark. Let your kids enjoy the sensory craft of wet felt making. This active craft is the oldest form of textile making in the world.

A family-friendly event dedicated to health, wellness and en-joy-ment, This Wonderful World: A Day For Wellness & Joy will feature a wide range of activities for adults and children, wellness workshops, sound therapy sessions and a fantastic range of artisan food trucks.

StrongWomen Science is a circus science show for children and families starring two women scientists turned circus performers. Aoife Raleigh is an engineer, Maria Corcoran an environmental scientist. Ever wanted to know how you balance a chair on your chin, if you can juggle liquid, or how circus performers eat fire? StrongWomen Aoife and Maria reveal the scientific secrets behind their astounding tricks.

In the spirit of positivity and inclusivity that runs throughout Brigid 2025 Festival, the concert will bring together some of Ireland’s leading artists to celebrate the 'He For She' ideal, adding a new dimension to the Brigid’s Day proceedings in which men share the festival, and its core message, of female empowerment.

Luxe Landscape Theatre will lead a grand fiery processional event through the main street of Maynooth on Thursday January 30th. Gathering at 7.15pm – procession leaves at 7.30pm. Dress for the weather. Photography and filming will be in progress. No tickets are required for this event.
