A Celebration of Irish Women Artists St. Brigid’s Cathedral in Kildare will be a marvellous setting for a musical event. In keeping with the spirit of Brigid, and the dignified aura of the Cathedral, this specially curated, ticketed event will draw from the well of spiritual music, choral music, soul music and the Irish tradition to deliver an event that stirs the soul and the spirit alike.

St. Brigid’s Camino Walk

Monasterevin Parish have organised a Camino Walk to commemorate Brigid. Starting at St. Brigid's Shine at Mountrice W34X529 on the Monasterevin - Rathangan Road (R414) at 11am on Monday 3rd February (walk is approx 6km). Car parking provided at Mountrice Cross. The walk will be led by the Bishop and will journey via Umeras then along Canal Blueway, finishing in St. Peter & Paul Church W34KD61 Monasterevin with a Service of Light at 12.30pm.

Cloak on the Moat : A celebration of St Brigid

Join us for a free family event to celebrate St Brigid in south Kildare.  As part of the Brigid 1500 celebrations last year, Village Voices community choir hosted a very special afternoon of music and song on the Moat of Ardscull called ‘ Cloak on the Moat’. By popular demand we are back again this year.

A Ramble on St. Brigid’s Pastures

The walk will include some ancient and recent historical sites on the Curragh Plains.
