A family-friendly event dedicated to health, wellness and en-joy-ment, This Wonderful World: A Day For Wellness & Joy will feature a wide range of activities for adults and children, wellness workshops, sound therapy sessions and a fantastic range of artisan food trucks. This vibrant event for all ages will transform The Wonderful Barn into a Physical and Mental Wellness Space, where visitors can explore everything from yoga, QiGong, meditation, sound therapy and holistic health talks to dance classes, fitness demonstrations, storytelling and Brigid’s cross-making. Among the participants will be Professor Noel Fitzpatrick (Channel 4’s Supervet and No.1 best-selling author), Michelin Green Star restauranteur Jess Murphy of Kai Restaurant in Galway, storyteller extraordinaire Helena Byrne, Elaine McDonald of Saor Dance, Jennie Cantwell & the Koru Wellness team – and lots more. Local historian Denis McCarthy will be on hand to give his fascinating history of the Wonderful Barn, which was built in 1743 on the Leixlip side of the Castletown Estate.
