The Allen Heritage and History Brigid day walk will begin with assembly in Allen Hall please register in the hall where volunteers will be on hand. 

The walk sets off in small groups heading to Crosspatrick hill and back through St. Brigid’s path and return to Allen Hall for light refreshments and some chat. The walk will be lead by Brigid herself. 

Bring a lantern a jam jar and a night light with some string. It will add to the event. A high vis jacket over some warm clothing and appropriate footwear well advised. A pocket flashlight will be useful. 

You are encouraged to let the group know about your experience from start to finish. Email comments and suggested improvements to [email protected]. There will be photographs of the event so if you’d prefer not to be photographed do let the group know. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 2nd for 5:00 p.m. start. In the interests of safety you are asked to travel in small groups of 10 especially on the stretch of main road. There will be stewards directing operations.
